Join us at Tom Varn Park from 11-2 for this school year's final park day! We will gather under the pavilion around noon for lunch, followed immediately by the talent showcase.
Let's celebrate a fantastic school year with something special! During May's Park Day, right after lunch, our kids will have a chance to show and share anything fun that they learned this year! It may be a song, a magic trick, a cartwheel, maybe they memorized the Book of Isaiah, grew a beautiful plant, or learned to tie their own shoes...we want to see it! Each student will have up to 5 minutes to present their special talent. We will also have a table available for works of art, Lego creations, etc. that your child may want to display instead of standing in front of the group (make sure their name is on it). This will all take place under the pavilion so there will be no stage, no microphone, or other props. It's fun and low key, and we will bring the treasure chest for everyone who participates AND anyone who sits and supports their friends.
Please bring a snack or treat to be enjoyed by everyone (no nuts, please!).
We will organize the kids' names and their talent on a white board so everyone will know the order. For that reason, please register your children separately, no later than Thursday, May 19.
EVERYONE is invited to participate, even if you have never been to Park Day or participated in Book Club. The more the merrier!
